Notice of 2012 Sewer Local Area Service Parcel Tax Roll Review Panel Hearings.
Letters of Notice were mailed on January 12, 2012 to each homeowner of a property located within the boundaries of the Colwood Main, Colwood South, Colwood East and Colwood West Sewer Local Area Services. The City's Parcel Tax Roll Review Panel will meet at 4:00 pm in the Council Chambers at Colwood City Hall, located at 3300 Wishart Road in Colwood, BC to review the parcel tax rolls for the following local area services, on the following dates:
1. The Colwood Main Sewer Local Area Service - Friday, January 27, 2012 at 4:00 pm;
2. The Colwood West Sewer Local Area Service - Friday January 27, 2012 at 4:00 pm;
3. The Colwood East Sewer Local Area Service - Monday, January 30, 2012 at 4:00 pm; and
4. The Colwood South Sewer Local Area Service - Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 4:00 pm.
A copy of the 2012 Colwood Main Sewer Local Area Service parcel tax roll is available for inspection at City Hall, 3300 Wishart Rd, or by clicking here.
A copy of the 2012 Colwood West Sewer Local Area Service parcel tax roll is available for inspection at City Hall, 3300 Wishart Rd, or by clicking here.
A copy of the 2012 Colwood East Sewer Local Area Service parcel tax roll is available for inspection at City Hall, 3300 Wishart Rd, or by clicking here.
A copy of the 2012 Colwood South Sewer Local Area Service parcel tax roll is available for inspection at City Hall, 3300 Wishart Rd, or by clicking here.
Complaints regarding the parcel tax roll may be made to the Parcel Tax Review Panel on one or more of the following grounds only:
1. There is an error or omission respecting a name or address on the parcel tax roll;
2. There is an error or omission respecting the inclusion of a parcel;
3. There is an error or omission respecting the taxable area of a parcel; or
4. An exemption has been improperly allowed or disallowed.
In order for a complaint regarding the parcel tax roll to be considered by the Panel, it must be submitted in writing and recived by the City of Colwood no later than 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2012. All complaints must be directed to the Collector, Jenn Preston, as follows:
